- Animals were considered unclean so the textile of choice was linen.
- Men and women wore tunics. Old Kingdom wore knee length skirts, Middle wore them to the ankle and New Kingdom people wore full or fitted skirts.
- Pleating showed symbols of status and jewelry held spiritual connections.
